We reach St. Peter's Basilica by subway “Metro Line A” direction Battistini and get off at the Ottaviano stop, walk down via Ottaviano towards Piazza Risorgimento and immediately we are in front of the walls of the Vatican City. Da via del Corso attraverso viuzze strette, si giunge nel cuore dell’antico Campo Marzio e principalmente in piazza della Rotonda. Qui troneggia, davanti a una fontana del ‘500 con obelisco egizio, ormai da due millenni, il Pantheon.
